The Better Part of The Day

I've had better days, but then again I've had worse ones.   This day was a long one, especially with the extra hour we gained.  But the details are for another time.

Sitting back and watching my grandkids at the park reminded me what it felt like to be fascinated by a fisherman casting his line.

He believed that his magic wand could really turn the animals into people.  

Remember when you talked to the animals..."Hi Duckies" and just knew that "Quack, Quack" meant "Hi Kids"?

It's true!  Grandkids always make things better.
