I can’t imagine how challenging it must be for your SIL. lyndagracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13530605081989558341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1078324787471983933.post-22649736177103072372013-10-24T16:59:28.836-04:002013-10-24T16:59:28.836-04:00On Tuesday I got out of bed because I had promised...On Tuesday I got out of bed because I had promised to go over to my sister-in-law's house to help her out. Long story there, but the short version is she has multiple sclerosis and 6 month old twins. And she had a flare up. I think that is probably more and more typical for people of our generation.

I'm sure your mother looks forward to your visits. To drive 300 miles, wow. That is remarkable. But it's your mom,
of course you would do that.

And what a great way to start the day, waking up to the small voice of your grandson calling for you. I see the the light in your eyes and the joy in your voice when you "speak" of him.
lyndagracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13530605081989558341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1078324787471983933.post-33556414744965849432013-10-23T22:44:52.160-04:002013-10-23T22:44:52.160-04:00Oddly, I overslept today. It was my grandson, who gets dropped off at 6:00 am everyday as his Mom leaves for work. Either my husband or I drop him off at school later. He is 11 yrs old. His Mom brought him in and realizing we were asleep, told him to wait a bit and wake us. Also, today is my day to travel about 300 miles as I do every other week to see my Mother and assist her in shopping and errands, as she no longer drives. My youngest brother does this same thing on alternate weeks from me.

That's my thing today. My highlight is the grandson. I am so dreading when he no longer needs Gran and Da to fix breakfast and take him to school. Proud Gran. Don't get me started.Pudge450https://www.blogger.com/profile/13096161371562249151noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1078324787471983933.post-15305597027909715482013-10-23T08:01:13.863-04:002013-10-23T08:01:13.863-04:00A kitty alarm clock, huh? Just thinking about it, though, at this point. lyndagracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13530605081989558341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1078324787471983933.post-65511435300824141542013-10-23T07:58:25.208-04:002013-10-23T07:58:25.208-04:00Oh Renee Anne,

That is just the way a kid's mind works.
It reminds of the story my daughter told me about my grandson peeing in his dresser drawer. When asked why he did that, he just shrugged his shoulders. lyndagracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13530605081989558341noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1078324787471983933.post-70879630751684123542013-10-23T02:00:20.954-04:002013-10-23T02:00:20.954-04:00I got out of bed because the cat was punching me i...I got out of bed because the cat was punching me in the head as a gentle hint that she wanted to be fed. It happens every morning!! Apart from that I have a squares blanket that I am trying to finish and today is the day I go to a Pilates class.Unahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03398380737025120541noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1078324787471983933.post-89063840929328269322013-10-22T19:30:48.969-04:002013-10-22T19:30:48.969-04:00I got out of bed because I heard a small child cal...I got out of bed because I heard a small child calling for me from the next room. Turns out he was trying to be a good boy and use his potty but he got out of his jammie bottoms and diaper, threw his diaper away, and then he peed...on the floor, his jammie bottoms, and his blanket. So, he really did try...just didn't make it. It wasn't exactly what I wanted to wake up to but it was okay. Renee Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12513788818111774118noreply@blogger.com
