R:Rock Star

This month I am participating in the April 2012 Blogging From A-Z Challenge. I will be blogging every day this month with Sundays off (except for April 1) using a letter of the alphabet in order from A through Z. So, Basically, beginning with April 1, my topic will be themed on something with the letterA, then on April second another topic with the letter B as the theme, and so on until I finish on April thirtieth with the theme based on the letter Z.

R: Rock Star

His father taught him to treat others fairly and with kindness.  He lost his father when he was 16.
His mother taught him to welcome anyone into his home with warmth and hospitality.  He lost his mother when he was 22.
He can walk into a room filled with strangers and find something in common with each person.
The first time I met him, I felt as though I had known him all of my life.
He chose to teach.
He will pull off the road to help when someone is in need.
His heart is warm but he will gently use "the force" when necessary.
His dancing name is Bugaloo Swimp, that’s right he has a dancing name.
He has strong ties and life long bonds from coast to coast.
Some of his favorite phrases are:
"I'll do whatever is necessary to help, what’s the big deal?"
     “He/she is a good person."
“I’ll take you wherever you want to go.”
“I’ll do whatever you want to do.”
His experiences include working as stage hand at Rose La Rose’s Town Hall Burlesque, bracing up at the Naval Academy, Secret Service Agent, (okay Insurance Investigator) and mentor to hundreds of “those” kids.
He is a Rockster.
He dreams of visiting far-a-way places that he has National Geographically known.
He feels sad for the little bird that flew into the glass door and sad for the birch that will have to come down.

He treated my mother with tenderness.
He vowed to be there for Joey, every step of the way and he was.
He likes to laugh, but most of all he likes to make me smile.
He loves B movies, James Bond and the Argentine Tango.
In some instances he stays in background, and perhaps that is why he is under appreciated by some.

He cooks and serves with presentation.

His hugs are like a bouquet of orchids.

Ross,  have I told you today that I love you?

I have created a page for Anna's Diary.  It can be found under the Tab titled Anna's Diary.
I have posted all of the entries to date there, starting with January 1, 1929.

Here is today’s entry from Anna’s diary:
April 20, 1929
Home all day. Carrie here to help clean.  Had a dinner for Mr. & Mrs. G., brother Charles and Grace. Had a very sociable evening.

  2. I did not know that Ross taught.  By golly,  I should have.  Inspirational post.  "I'll do whatever's necessary to help.  What's the big deal?"  Indeed.
