G: Grouchy - Just Like "Little Dog"

This month I am participating in the April 2012 Blogging From A-Z Challenge. I will be blogging every day this month with Sundays off (except for April 1) using a letter of the alphabet in order from A through Z. So, Basically, beginning with April 1, my topic will be themed on something with the letterA, then on April second another topic with the letter B as the theme, and so on until I finish on April thirtieth with the theme based on the letter Z.

G: For Grouchy
I'm grouchy today.   I was grouchy yesterday too.   Grouchy feels like a mosquito  buzzing in my ear in the middle of the night.  Grouchy makes me want to growl and say grrrr.   Rico doesn't care that I am grouchy, he still barks and barks, even when I tell him "No bark!"  Ross pretends that I am not grouchy.   When I am snappish with him, he says "It's okay, I still love you."

Today we went to Long Branch.  I saw a pregnant woman on the boardwalk.  She wore a cropped top and a long skirt.  Her hands gently held her exposed swollen belly as she smiled for the photographer.
I saw a short wide woman who wore a party dress of lemon yellow.  She wobbled on her high high heels as she moved quickly down the promenade.

I saw little girls in their Springy dresses playing tag with the waves.

I saw Big Dog and Little Dog tugging on a toy.

I saw young people staging a sit in.
I saw gulls jumping the waves.
 I saw signs of summer.
 Then I laughed and laughed
when I saw looked in the mirror and saw Little Grouchy Dog.

I have created a page for Anna's Diary.  It can be found under the Tab titled Anna's Diary.
I have posted all of the entries to date there, starting with January 1, 1929.

Here is today's entry from Anna's Diary:
Sun. April 7 1929
Very hot.
Went to St. Francis.  Helen Carr over at noon and we went to 360.  Stayed for supper.  Edythe phoned to ask us to ride out to Dunelen.  Extremely warm so enjoyed the ride.

  2. That definitely is one grouchy dog. I think it's pretty normal that you would struggle with grouchiness and then some while trying to process so much hurt. It is wonderful that you have Ross to love you unconditionally even when you're a little cranky.

  3. Grouchy happens, for sure.  Love how you handled it and didn't let it handle you.  ANd the photos!  so rich! The colors in the gulls one make me feel as if I am there.
